Lash Industry New Zealand is a platform designed to gather the best minds in the lash community, to provide educational resources and advice, and to act as an umbrella to support industry based events.
These events are an opportunity for lash artists to augment their skills, refine their business acumen, and above all, connect with fellow enthusiasts who share their passion and dedication. We understand the importance of having events that are dedicated to the lash industry and are proud to be a part of the movement that is contributing to its growth. Our events are tailored to provide you with the knowledge and tools needed to ignite creativity. We are passionate in our reasons and are here to help you reach your goals.
We believe in the power of collaboration. Through projects like our conferences, competitions, and workshops we will showcase the incredible talent of our lash artists, give recognition for achievement in business, and work together to raise the standards of the New Zealand lash industry.

Aotearoa Lash Conference
E te tī, e te tā kua – Nau mai ki taku whare korero!
I’m Rauwhiro. Born and raised in the Capital of Tourism, Rotorua. Being Māori is my driving force… it’s who I am and where I come from. I was raised around mass gatherings and we celebrate special occasions. My love of bringing people together is how the Aotearoa Lash Conference began.
Although I do not actively lash clients anymore, my passion for the industry was one I could not part with, I enjoyed making people feel beautiful. I was also obsessed with the challenges that come with lashing; isolation, attention to detail, patience while also counselling clients through their life obstacles. I still have knowledge to share.
Aotearoa Lash Conference ROTORUA 2022 – Was the very first eyelash extension focused conference that Aotearoa has had. After the COVID pandemic I found a few businesses had struggled to find the spark again in lashing. I really wanted to bring like minded people together to discuss these challenges and celebrate them as well. The focus was to network, inspire and deliver a memorable day!
Aotearoa Lash Conference AUCKLAND 2023 – I could not believe I was going into my second year and with all the anxiety that was hitting me I knew I had to get the correct support and deliver an exceptional event. This was the year I would partner with Sheree Miller founder of Lash Industry NZ. She was the back bone keeping this waka (canoe) rowing. She had seen the potential in a collaboration to make sure that Aotearoa Lash Conference and Lash Industry Awards was going to be the standard for our amazing Lash Artists around Aotearoa New Zealand.
We are now running our third event and it really is going to be the unforgettable one! As we now combine both Conference and Awards going forward.
